Gino’s sits comfortably on Slough’s High Street as a welcoming neighborhood cafe known for solid, no-fuss English breakfasts and reliably good coffee. The moment you walk in, the friendly chatter and approachable staff create a sense of familiarity, like dropping by a neighbor’s kitchen rather than a commercial spot. This relaxed vibe makes it a natural morning stop for locals looking for a straightforward start to the day.

The coffee — particularly their espresso and cortado options — draws regulars who appreciate a well-made, hot cup without pretension. You’ll find a steady mix of visitors here, from travelers exploring Slough to local workers taking a break or enjoying a quick breakfast. The cafe’s cleanliness and efficient service keep the morning rhythm running smoothly, even when it’s busy.

Gino’s menu hits the essential notes for a classic English start: generous breakfasts featuring quality sausages and eggs, alongside lighter bites like chicken sandwiches and various paninis with fillings including ham, cheese, and peri peri chicken. Portions are consistently generous, pleasing families and solo diners alike. There’s also a kid’s menu with comforting familiar options, making it easy for parents to feel at home.

Visitors often find themselves returning for the familiar atmosphere and food that strikes the right balance — no heavy oiliness, just honest, satisfying flavors. The environment suits both leisurely weekend breakfasts and quick weekday stops, with the buzz of friendly faces and occasional tourists lending a low-key, communal energy.

In sum, Gino’s works best for anyone who values solid coffee and a hearty breakfast in a clean, cheerful spot that feels stitched into the daily life of Slough rather than a polished commercial chain. Mornings or early afternoons are prime times to drop in, especially if you enjoy a place where the staff greet you like old friends and the food comes out fresh and straightforward.

Such a warm welcome when you first enter, it’s like saying hello to friends you’ve know for years and I love that! The lovely lady in the front is a sweetheart and the lovely man who made the food is so friendly. The food was lovely the espresso macchiato was delicious! I will definitely make this my regular.

Their rating should be 5.5 . I loved it! So, I am staying across the street at the Moxy hotel and I was looking for a local cafe to get breakfast. If you read this review, stop and just come on down to Gino’s. You can thank me later. First and most important, the coffee is hot and perfect The place is spotless, the service is simply amazing, friendly, and so welcoming. The food is what is the secret; very tasty, hot, well prepared, the eggs were perfect, the portions are enormous and is the perfect English breakfast????????. I am just confused why their prices are so low . Simply amazing place, people, and food. And I am a foodie

This place was great. Gino and the waitress were very welcoming and accommodating for some hungry travelers. The portions were enormous and we ate so fast there was no time for pictures. We got the classic English breakfast, meat and vegetarian versions and it was yummy satisfying.

I have not been here for 20 years, glad I came in. Still one of the best breakfast spots in Slough. I got the no.1 with fried bread (somewhere that does GREAT traditional fried bread). Prices are reasonable. I'd recommend getting an extra sausage. It's a shame it's next to wetherspoons, as the breakfast is actually a similar price if you were to get everything. and all the ingredients are what you would expect, cooked really well and was surprisingly quick! Great staff who were happy to help. Coffee and tea was great. They have a great deal for a roll and hot drink to. BUT if you're up for a decent fry up. This is the place to go!
